Private Hatha Yoga Classes, relaxation, meditation

Holidays are all about relaxing, nurturing and recovering from the stresses of everyday life. What better way to unwind and relax than enjoy a private Yoga, relaxation and meditation session with a I.Y.T.A member? Your private yoga session can be tailored to your individual ability and skill level. Yoga Classes can be arranged on a one to one basis, or for your family group; in the privacy of your villa or on the golden sands of the Four Mile beach.

Lucy Chadwick is a Yoga Instructor with internationally recognised yoga credentials and is a member of the International Yoga Teachers Association. Lucy offers private yoga sessions for individual or small groups at a time that suits you, in the comfort of your own place of accommodation, or on the beach if you prefer, catering to any personal requests and special needs you may
have.
The sessions are 75 minutes duration, but can be adjusted to suits your needs.

Yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical exercises, or "asanas", controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation. Hatha yoga Asanas teach poise, balance & strength and are practiced to improve the body's physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation in the pursuit of enlightenment.

Yoga is believed to calm the nervous system and balance the body, mind, and spirit. Yoga prevents specific diseases and maladies by keeping the energy meridians open and life energy (Prana) flowing. Yoga has been used to lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve coordination, flexibility, concentration, sleep, and digestion. It has also been used as supplementary therapy for such diverse conditions as cancer, diabetes, asthma, AIDS and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Considering these factors, yoga is easily the best system of physical activity beneficial to every cell, organ and system in the human body. Yoga benefits the cardiovascular and lympathic systems. As the lympathic system does not have a heart to help pump its loads of poisonous substances, yoga asanas work to support the lymphs glands, preventing them from becoming obstructed.
